I have suffered with knee pains for more than 20 years and a friend recommended trying turmeric. Total game changer! I can now be active and enjoy my life again in ways I had thought I would never get back to. The Solgar brand is more expensive than others but does work better so value for money I feel. I take one capsule a day with about 8 whole black peppercorns and I advise anyone suffering with joint pains to do the same – takes a couple of weeks to feel the benefit but do stick with it.

I love the Solgar brand. They are the most reliable brand – the supplements work the same way every time, unlike some other brands. And they have a good reputation across the internet. I had my Dad, 91, on Turmeric hoping it would help with his arthritis. I think it helped some – but not sure. The surprising effect of Turmeric I noticed after he quit taking his inhaler for his COPD. I argued and argued and finally let him win, thinking in about week we’d get him back on it because he would be couging so hard. Funny thing was the cough never came back, at least not in the same intensity. He coughs some but nothing major. And I attribute it to the Turmeric. We’ve been on and off his inhaler multiple times and each time he’s gone back to it because the cough got so bad. It’s been almost 2 months now….no more inhaler!!
